GENZA Colorado Safety Policy Information

This page provides important information about GENZA’s safety policies and reporting procedures for users in Colorado. It is designed to work together with our other safety documents and to support Colorado online dating safety disclosure requirements, including the Colorado Online Dating Services Safety Act.

1. Prohibited Conduct: Sexual Violence and Safety-Related Misconduct

Sexual conduct without consent is strictly prohibited on GENZA and is treated as a serious safety violation. This includes, without limitation:

• any sexual activity without clear, informed, voluntary, and ongoing consent;

• sexual activity with a person who is asleep, unconscious, heavily intoxicated, impaired, or otherwise unable to give meaningful consent;

• pressure, coercion, threats, intimidation, manipulation, or blackmail intended to obtain sexual activity or intimate content;

• sexual contact with a person who cannot legally consent because of age or other legal incapacity.

GENZA also prohibits conduct that threatens public or personal safety, whether it occurs in-app or outside the Service after users connect through GENZA. This includes:

• stalking, harassment, or intimidation;

• threats of physical or sexual violence;

• non-consensual sharing of intimate images, including so-called “revenge porn”;

• hate-motivated or bias-motivated harassment;

• fraud, coercive schemes, or conduct that would reasonably make another person feel unsafe.

Users who engage in this conduct may be subject to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, permanent removal, or other remedial action described below.

2. How to Report Misconduct or Safety Concerns

If you experience or witness misconduct on GENZA – including harassment, threats, sexual violence, impersonation, fraud, or conduct that makes you feel unsafe – you can report it in the following ways:

In-app reporting tools

Use the Report function available on profiles, chats, rooms, or other relevant in-app surfaces to report specific users, content, or behavior. You can also block another user to stop further contact.

In-app support tools

Use the support or help tools made available within the Service to submit a more detailed safety report. Where possible, include relevant screenshots, usernames, room details, timestamps, or other information that can help us review the matter.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact 911 or your local emergency services first, before or in addition to reporting to GENZA.

3. How GENZA Responds to Reports

When we receive a safety-related report, we may take the following steps, depending on the seriousness of the report, available evidence, prior signals, and applicable law:

Review and assessment

Our team may review the report, relevant profile information, messages, room activity, prior reports, account integrity signals, and other reasonably available information. We may also request additional information from the reporting user where needed.

Enforcement actions

Depending on the context and severity, GENZA may:

• issue warnings or educational notices;

• restrict access to certain features;

• place an account under review or temporary suspension;

• remove content or disable interactions;

• permanently ban an account from the Service.

Where we reasonably believe an account presents a serious or repeat safety risk, we may take stronger or immediate action, including permanent removal from the Service.

Notice to affected members

Where appropriate and permitted by law, GENZA may provide notice to users who have had contact on the Service with a member who becomes subject to serious safety-related remedial action.

Cooperation with law enforcement

In appropriate circumstances and as permitted or required by law, GENZA may preserve and share information relevant to alleged criminal conduct with law enforcement, courts, or regulators. GENZA is not a law enforcement agency and does not determine criminal guilt or innocence; our actions are administrative and intended to protect the community.

4. Criminal Background Checks and Identity Verification

As described in the GENZA Notice on Criminal Background Checks and Identity Verification:

• GENZA does not conduct routine criminal background checks on all users;

• GENZA does not conduct comprehensive legal identity verification on all users;

• GENZA may use limited, selective, or risk-based verification tools to reduce fake accounts, bots, impersonation, fraud, or underage access;

• a “verified” label or similar feature does not mean that GENZA has completed a criminal background check or guaranteed that a user is safe.

No online process – including photo checks, selfie checks, liveness checks, ID-related reviews, or third-party screening tools – can guarantee that another person is safe or has no criminal history. You remain responsible for using caution when interacting with others on or off GENZA.

5. Member Safety Resources and Responsibilities

GENZA maintains safety resources intended to support safer online and in-person interactions. These include our Safety & Safe Dating Tips, Community Guidelines, in-app report and block tools, account restrictions for abusive behavior, and risk-based verification or anti-fraud controls where available.

At the same time, you remain the best judge of your own safety. We encourage you to:

• review our GENZA Safety & Safe Dating Tips before meeting anyone offline;

• avoid sharing sensitive personal, financial, or location information too quickly;

• avoid sending money, crypto, gift cards, login credentials, or verification codes to anyone you meet through the Service;

• arrange first meetings in public places and let a trusted contact know your plans;

• use in-app report and block tools if someone behaves suspiciously, abusively, deceptively, or aggressively.

GENZA may update this page, its related safety materials, or its reporting and enforcement processes from time to time to reflect product changes, operational changes, legal developments, or safety improvements.
