GENZA Cookie Policy
Version: 1.0
Effective Date: March 31, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how GENZA ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, tags, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies when you visit our websites, use our mini apps or mobile applications, or otherwise interact with our online services (together, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website.
SDKs, pixels, tags, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies are tools used in apps and online services to recognize your device, remember information, measure interactions, and support product functionality.
These technologies may be used by us and, in some cases, by our service providers or partners to:
make the Services work;
keep you signed in and remember your preferences;
protect the Services, detect abuse, and prevent fraud;
understand how the Services are used;
improve performance, reliability, and security; and
support advertising or campaign measurement where permitted by law.
2. Categories of technologies we use
We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into the categories below. The exact tools may change as we update the Services.
2.1. Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies are required for the Services to operate and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are typically used for functions such as:
authentication and session management;
security and fraud prevention;
technical delivery of content and load balancing; and
saving basic privacy, cookie, or consent settings.
If you block these technologies, some parts of the Services may not work properly.
2.2. Performance and analytics technologies
These technologies help us understand how the Services are used so we can measure and improve performance. They may be used to:
measure visits to pages or screens and understand user flows;
detect crashes, bugs, latency, and other technical issues;
evaluate the performance of product features or communications; and
improve usability, stability, and reliability.
We may use our own tools and/or third-party analytics providers. Information collected for these purposes may be aggregated, but may also be associated with identifiers such as a device ID or account ID where reasonably necessary for troubleshooting, fraud prevention, or service improvement.
2.3. Functional and personalization technologies
These technologies support enhanced functionality and personalization, such as:
remembering your language, display, or accessibility settings;
saving certain in-app preferences;
supporting optional features, experiments, or onboarding choices; and
helping us present a more consistent experience across your sessions.
If you disable these technologies, some features may not function as intended.
2.4. Advertising and measurement technologies
Where permitted by law, we and our advertising, attribution, or measurement partners may use technologies to:
measure the performance of marketing campaigns;
understand how users arrive at and interact with the Services;
limit repeated display of the same advertisement; and
support advertising or audience measurement, including targeted advertising where applicable.
Depending on your state of residence and how these technologies are used, this activity may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
You can manage these choices as described in Section 5.
3. Third-party technologies
We may permit certain third parties to place cookies or use similar technologies through the Services, for example to provide analytics, campaign attribution, embedded content, or other support functions.
These third parties may collect information about your use of the Services and, depending on the provider and configuration, about your use of other sites or apps over time in accordance with their own privacy notices.
We do not control third-party privacy practices, and their use of information is governed by their own terms and notices except to the extent limited by our agreements with them.
4. How long do these technologies remain on your device?
Some technologies operate only during your current browser or app session and are removed when you close the session.
Other technologies remain on your device for a longer period, or until you delete them, so that preferences can be remembered or so that we can recognize your device when you return.
The duration of a particular cookie or similar technology depends on the provider, the purpose for which it is used, and the configuration of your browser, device, or app.
5. Your choices and controls
You have several options to control cookies and similar technologies.
5.1. In-app or on-site privacy controls
Where available, you can manage certain analytics, advertising, and similar preferences through GENZA settings, banners, consent tools, or privacy choice controls.
5.2. Browser settings
Most web browsers allow you to block or restrict cookies, delete existing cookies, or configure your browser to notify you before a cookie is placed.
If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Services may not function properly.
5.3. Mobile device settings
On mobile devices, your operating system may allow you to reset or limit your advertising identifier, manage app permissions, or restrict certain forms of tracking.
5.4. U.S. privacy opt-outs
If you are located in a U.S. state that provides privacy rights relating to targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal data, you may be able to exercise those rights through our "Your Privacy Choices" controls, consent tools, or other methods described in our Privacy Policy.
When you use these controls, we will continue to use technologies that are necessary to operate the Services and may continue to use technologies for other purposes permitted by applicable law.
5.5. Browser-based opt-out signals
Where required by applicable law, we may recognize a valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), for the browser or environment in which the signal is received.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no single industry standard governing how websites or apps should respond to this setting. Unless and until a binding standard applies, we will handle browser-based opt-out signals as described in Section 5.5 and in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, the Services, or our data practices. When we do so, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
8. Contact us
If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or your privacy choices, please contact us through the contact methods listed in our Privacy Policy or in the GENZA app.
